Terms and Conditions for Appointment Booking at The Foot Room

Thank you for choosing The Foot Room for your podiatry needs. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both you and our clinic, please read and adhere to the following terms and conditions related to appointment booking, cancellation, and refunds:

  1. Pre-Payment for Online Booking:
    • All online bookings require pre-payment in full at the time of booking.
    • Failure to make the payment will result in the non-confirmation of your appointment.
    • Your appointment is secure only upon successful payment.
  2. Cancellation Policy:
    • We kindly request a minimum of 2 working days’ notice for cancellations whenever possible.
    • If a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is not given, the full appointment amount will be charged.
    • This policy is in place to cover the costs associated with the appointment time and ongoing expenses.
    • In certain circumstances, we may consider rescheduling appointments, but no refunds will be provided.
  3. Booking the Correct Appointment:
    • Ensure that you have booked the correct appointment type for your specific needs.
    • Each appointment type is clearly described and explained on our website.
    • If the wrong appointment type is booked and the podiatrist is unable to address the patient’s needs, the clinic reserves the right to charge the full amount. It is the responsibility of the patient to ensure they book the appropriate appointment type.

  4. Premium Appointments:
    • Premium appointments, defined as those booked after 5 pm and on weekends, are subject to a £10 additional fee.
    • This fee is applicable to cover the additional costs associated with out-of-hour appointments.

Payments Made In Clinic or Over the Phone:

At The Foot Room, we strive to provide a seamless and convenient experience for our clients, including efficient payment processes. Please take note of the following payment guidelines:

  1. New Patient Appointments:
    • For all new patient appointments, payment is required in full.
    • This policy ensures that your appointment is confirmed and allows us to allocate the necessary resources for your visit.
  2. Specialised Longer Appointments / Packages:
    • Payment in full is required for all specialised longer appointments and packages.
    • These appointments may include comprehensive assessments, extended treatment sessions, or package deals tailored to specific podiatry needs.
    • By completing payment in advance, you secure your reservation for these specialised services.
  3. Attendance and Notice for Package Appointments:
    • In the case of packages including multiple appointments, if you fail to attend one of the appointments included in the package and a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is not given, that specific appointment will be forfeited from the package or treatment pathway.
    • It’s important to note that the careful design of these packages is aimed at providing the best possible outcome for your foot health.
    • Losing an appointment from the package may impact the overall success of the treatment provided by our experienced team.
  4. Payment Methods:
    • We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, cash and other forms of electronic payment. We do not accept American Express.
    • Payments can be made securely in the clinic, over the phone or online.
  5. Confirmation of Appointments:
    • Your appointment is considered confirmed once the full payment is successfully processed.
    • This policy ensures a streamlined experience for both our clients and our clinic staff.
  6. Refund Policy:
    • Payments for new patient appointments and specialised longer appointments/packages are non-refundable unless 2 full working days’ notice has been given.
    • In the event of rescheduling or cancellation, please refer to our general cancellation policy outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
  7. Assistance and Inquiries:

Podiatry treatment is offered subject to the following:

  1. Treatment fees are payable for all treatment/work given or received whether treatment is given or received in our surgeries, in the patient’s home or some other location agreed between our staff and the patient (or patient’s guardian).
  2. No credit will be given – fees are due at the time treatment is given or received
  3. Fees will vary according to the treatment given or received. Normally a fee is due for the type of treatment given.
  4. Additional fees may be charged for on-line bookings, extra services and items/products used during your treatment, this may include dressings, bandages, insoles/orthoses, medicaments, footcare products, further assessments and advice, etc. – this list should not be considered exhaustive.
  5. We shall not discriminate against you due to any disability you may have.
  6. We shall treat you with the same respect, professional care and professional conduct as anyone else regardless of your gender, gender identity, sex, sexuality, race, religion, disability or profession.
  7. We reserve the right to treat you or not treat you, and to withdraw treatment at any time, without notice, in accordance with the rules and codes of conduct of the College of Podiatrists the Health and Care Professions Council.
  8. Normal opening hours are posted in the surgeries and on this website, however, occasionally we may offer to see you earlier or later at our discretion.
